Emeris (Ruimsig)  has a vacancy for a Part-time Intermediate Phase Lecturer  in the following module: 

Mathematics and Natural Sciences (Grade 4-6/ Intermediate Phase)


Key Performance Areas :

• Deliver engaging Mathematics lectures and facilitate student learning.
• Prepare lesson materials aligned with module outcomes.
• Administer and mark assessments.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
• Support student success, including at-risk interventions.
• Integrate ICT tools to enhance teaching and learning.
• Maintain accurate academic records and meet administrative deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and academic integrity standards.
  
• Participate in professional development.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• B.Ed. Honours degree or a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (NQF Level 8), or alternatively a BSc/BA/Arts/Humanities Honours degree is required.

• Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include Mathematics and/or Natural Sciences, or related subjects such as Physical Sciences, along with a module in Teaching and Learning/ Pedagogy.

• The qualification must demonstrate that Mathematics and/or Science has been studied up to at least NQF Level 6 (typically equivalent to second-year level).

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years Teaching and Learning experience (preferably in education environment).
• Tertiary Lecturing Experience (Ideal).

Working Conditions:
