Emeris consolidates resources and expertise from IIE Varsity College, IIE MSA, IIE-Vega School, and IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management, with a unified approach ensuring a consistent standard of excellence in teaching, learning, and student support.

Emeris National Office has a vacancy for a Teaching Experience Faculty Coordinator, with the role being based in Durban, Cape Town, or Midrand.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Teaching Experience operations across all campuses.
  • Develop and maintain national operational frameworks, Standard Operating Procedures, and timelines.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of Teaching Experience processes.
  • Monitor campus placement progress against national requirements.
  • Identify risks, delays, and non-compliance trends.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate faculty leadership.
  • Service-learning campus oversight.
  • SACE operational oversight.
  • Placement processes for both Distance and Contact mode.
  • Consolidate Teaching Experience data from all campuses.
  • Maintain national datasets, dashboards, and reports.
  • Support accreditation reviews, audits, and internal QA processes.
  • Consolidate Teaching Experience data from all campuses.
  • Provide guidance and operational support to campus Teaching Experience Coordinators.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings and capacity-building initiatives.
  • Promote best practice and consistency across campuses.
  • Translate academic Teaching Experience requirements into operational instructions.
  • Provide operational intelligence to academic leadership to support decision-making.

Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in administration, education or operations.
  • Postgraduate Qualification - advantageous.

Minimum Work Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum of 3 years administration experience in a similar role (school or educational context ideal).
  • Experience in higher education administration or coordination.
